Update: More than three years later, I still love this rug. Every spot still comes out. There is a tiny bit of wear showing on the corner we walk over daily, but I guarantee no one but me can see this. I plan to rotate the rug this summer to give that corner a rest. Everyone who sees it is complimentary of it.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~I just got this rug a day ago so I can't vouch for wear-ability. However when I unrolled the rug, there was a mark on one edge, perhaps where a warehouse person had stepped. It cleaned off with swipe of a soapy cloth. "Impressive," I thought. "Thank you, the magic of recycled plastic."This rug...is so perfect for my need. I bought it for a very happy room designed for grandchildren -- purple walls, bold pillows, Ikea cube shelves, etc. I wanted something inexpensive to provide a play surface for tiny people and protect the laminate floor from Tonka trucks. The rug is truly indoor-outdoor with medium weight while given some laying oomph with very solid hemming. The pattern is softer than pictured here, less stark and just right for the room's mood. The texture underfoot is not "carpety" but not at all rough. It's a flat-weave feel and therefore not overwhelming with all the other textures represented in the room. For the price, I don't think I could have chosen better.
