Love, love LOVE this "rug." In fact, it's not so much a RUG as a MAT. It's woven, and there is no pile. I was a little taken aback when it arrived, especially as it seemed too thin to smooth out (there were wrinkles). However, time and being flat did the trick. This is under our bed (extending 40+ inches on three sides of the bed frame), and is exactly what we needed. We have polished concrete floors that are cold and hard. Stepping onto this mat is not cold and, although not soft and squishy, it is plenty adequate. Most of all, I love the style and the affordability. I would definitely purchase another similar mat from Safavieh. I've actually been looking at some of the other style options. My husband wants me to add that it's nice and sturdy and well-made, and that he expects it to last a long time. (love that pattern!!!)
